Since opening in 1960, the Sony Centre has played an essential role in the growth of the performing arts in Toronto. It welcomed Katherine Hepburn, Richard Burton, Mikhail Baryshnikov and much more to its stage. Discover for the first time via props, photographs, posters and narratives the performances that brought the world to Toronto.
The exhibition was part of Doors Open Toronto for 2016. Costumes from the National Ballet and the Canadian Opera Company were displayed on the stage.
